Multi-Mode
Multi-mode fiber cable is the type of optical fiber typically used to transmit data across short distances, such as across a college campus or throughout a corporate building. OM1, OM2, OM3, and OM4 fiber cables are, progressively, capable of supporting more bandwidth and/or transmitting data over longer distances. Multi-mode fiber patch cable is used as a backbone network infrastructure for its reliability, high carrying capacity, and lower power consumption.

OM1 (12)
Multi-mode fiber cable is the type of optical fiber typically used to transmit data across short distances, such as across a college campus or throughout a corporate building. OM1-62.5 multi-mode cable is the most basic type of multi-mode fiber optic cable that you can use. This cable has one of the lowest bandwidths possible and therefore should only be used in networks that won’t require a lot of data transfers. -
OM2 (12)
Multi-mode fiber cable is the type of optical fiber typically used to transmit data across short distances, such as across a college campus or throughout a corporate building. O2-50 multi mode fiber cable is the second level of multi-mode fiber optic cable that you can use. OM2 fiber optic cable cable has the second-lowest bandwidth possible. -
OM3 (12)
Multi-mode fiber cable is the type of optical fiber typically used to transmit data across short distances, such as across a college campus or throughout a corporate building. OM3 multi mode fiber cable is the third level of multi-mode fiber optic cable that you can use. The OM3 fiber optic cable has the second-highest bandwidth possible and therefore can be used in networks where a lot of data transfers will take place. The multi mode OM3 fiber, or OM3 wire, will greatly support all of your businesses’ data needs. -
OM4 (2)
Multi-mode fiber cable is the type of optical fiber typically used to transmit data across short distances, such as across a college campus or throughout a corporate building. OM4 multi mode fiber optic cable is the highest level of multi-mode fiber optic cable that you can use. The OM4 multi mode fiber cable has the highest bandwidth possible and therefore can be used in networks where an overwhelming or extreme amount of data transfers will take place. The multimode OM4 fiber, or OM4 wire, will definitely support all of your businesses’ data needs.
